Abrams For Governor

Georgia Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams was one of the first political candidates that stirred my soul. Having lived in Georgia for nearly a decade and committed to a future where Black creatives could thrive in the state, I committed to bring a bold cultural strategy to the final 'Get Out the Vote' push for the campaign.

Within a two week sprint, I worked with local and national artists to create the hashtag #StaceyInspiredMe, organized DJ's to play Jay Rock's remix of 'Win' in nightclubs to spread awareness of Election Day, even simulated Leader Abram's childhood living room inside a box truck to pass out promotional campaign materials around the city of Atlanta to meet the people where they were.

To this day, it has been one of the my favorite projects ever - and at the top of that list - I had the honor of designing the campaign staff t-shirt symbolizing the culturally icon nature of her candidacy and the 159 counties in Georgia the campaign reached.
